Our Story
A Story That Couldn't Wait
My grandfather's story was lost because I didn't have the means to record it. I barely captured my grandmother Margaret's stories before she passed in February 2025.
Those final interviews with my grandmother became the most treasured possession of our family. But they also revealed a painful truth: we'd waited too long. So many stories, so much wisdom, already gone.
I started Cinematic Autobiography to ensure other families don't experience that same regret. After nearly a decade of documentary filmmaking — creating films that moved thousands to tears — I knew exactly how powerful preserved stories could be.
